Jesus wasn’t very big on storing up things. The story of the Rich Man and Lazarus reminds us how easily we can forget that our blessings come from God’s grace and are not something we have accomplished on our own. Jesus did not store up things while he was here; he shared them, gave them away, gave them to people in need, and used what he had to bless others. Jesus wants us to confront a couple of crucial questions: What is our treasure and where are we keeping it? Every earthly treasure we have is vulnerable to destruction. Every one of our treasures, except our relationship to God and his people, is temporary. So why do we spend so much time investing in things that will not satisfy or sustain? Jesus urges us to invest in what is lasting, eternal, and ultimately perfect. If we do, nothing can destroy and nothing can steal our blessed assurance that we will be victorious in Jesus.
Jesus, I’m sorry I keep searching for something more than You when You are everything. >>

Hey Guys!

I know it has been a REALLY long time since I’ve posted, but some tragic, and happy stuff has happen lately.. but currently I got offered a trip to Africa with my church to go help the little kids in July. But, for the college I want to go to, can start in June, and starting college means moving to LA sooner, and being with the guy I love sooner. and I know not much beats Africa, but I am always the person who rushed what needs to be done, I’m rushing school, I want to rush time, I want to finish faster, and be done quicker. but a trip to Africa won’t always be there. but sometimes, I wonder if things in LA will actually be there when I get done with school after Africa… and missing my family, it just, makes me so curious, as to what is going to happen if i choose one way or another..

i don’t know, I guess  what I’m trying to say, is I want to know what you guys think, and If you want more information on the Africa trip, or college or the guy, just to get a bigger picture, please feel free to ask, I just want some other opinions. please and thank you.
